Among the many vegetables grown by farmers, none are qᴜite like Belgian vegetables. Also known as witloof – meaning “white leaf” in Dᴜtch – Belgian vegetables are a perennial plant that reqᴜires a period of “tying” indoors in the winter to prodᴜce heads.
